Happy New Year 2015!!!

Hi Everyone, Happy New Year!
We hope you all have a healthy, happy and prosperous 2015.

It was our turn hosting the family New Year's Eve party; this time the theme was Mediterranean Mezze!
Mezze comes from the Persian word 'Mazze' which means 'taste or snack.' Our New Year's Mezze was a selection of small dishes with varying hot and cold appetizers from the Mediterranean and Middle East.

The Menu had plenty of variety:

Meat dishes - Bacon Wrapped Dates, Salmon Toasts, Turkey Kibbeh w Garlic Tahini Sauce, Dried Lime Shrimp Skewers, Chicken Kebabs

Vegetable dishes - Baba ghanouj, Hummus, Muhammara, Samosas, Caprese Salad, Labneh w Pita, Stuffed Grape Leaves

Dessert - Fresh Fruit, Fruit salad, Orange Flower Cake, Almond Gelee with Blackberries and Rambutan

Here are a few shots from the table, recipes to follow at later dates.
